Looks like the IOC is considering adding golf, rugby and women's boxing to the summer olympics.

I can understand both the boxing and rugby, but I have a hard time with Golf. Not in any sense that golf is not a sport, but rather not sure how allowing pro golf players to play in the Olympics will help the sport of Golf. I see it more as an opportunity to piggy back on the popularity of players like Tiger to increase TV revenue and sponsorship opportunities.

RIP Gatti

I attended the funeral today of Arturo Gatti, may he rest in peace. Such a great athlete taken to soon.

Recent news reports suggest he may have committed suicide, I still think his wife is involved somehow.

The Canadiens will be looking for their third straight win on Saturday night as they welcome the Buffalo Sabres to town. With the Rangers loss to Pittsburgh - a Habs win could make them even with New York at 87 points.

Well the Quebec Budget was tabled and all we can say is deficit, deficit, deficit. Let's just hope we can eventually dig our selves out of this hole when the economy improves:
